Terms of Sale

1. Who you are buying from

Button to Button is operated by Bucket 6 Inc., a registered trade name of Orange Chair Corporation, a corporation organised under the laws of the State of Illinois, United States, with its principal place of business at 117 Logan Avenue, Geneva, Illinois 60134.

Orange Chair Corporation is the contracting party. "Bucket 6 Inc." is the name under which it operates, and is the name you will see on your card statement and your receipt — which must match what Stripe holds on the business profile.

By placing an order you agree to these terms.

2. What we sell

Pin-back buttons, printed to order from a curated catalog of designs. Buttons are made in three sizes; the sizes available for a given design depend on the resolution of its artwork, and the shop will only offer you the sizes that design can actually be pressed at.

Some designs are held in stock and some are made to order. Both are sold on the same terms; the difference affects only how quickly the order ships.

3. Prices and payment

Prices are shown in US dollars and are exclusive of shipping, which is added at checkout before you pay.

Payment is taken by Stripe. We never see or store your card number — it goes directly to Stripe, and we receive only a confirmation that the payment succeeded, along with the billing and shipping details you gave them.

Your order is not accepted until payment is confirmed. If payment fails, no order exists.

4. Artwork and intellectual property

The designs in the catalog are ours or are used with permission. Buying a button buys you the button. It does not transfer any right in the artwork, and does not permit reproducing the design, printing it yourself, or reselling it as your own.

5. Errors

If a price or description is obviously wrong, we may cancel the order and refund you in full rather than fulfil it. We will tell you if we do.

6. Limits of liability

We are responsible for supplying buttons that match their description and are free from manufacturing defects. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death, personal injury, or fraud.

7. Changes

We may change these terms. The version that applies to your order is the one published when you placed it.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Illinois, United States.
